Rob, Hunter and Mark were absolutely great. Moved me from Savannah, TN to Hixson, TN, north Chattanooga. By far the smoothest move I have ever had. Cannot say enough good things about them and for Josh who coordinated the whole move. Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Rob and Daniel moved our household furniture and goods from Starkville,, Ms. to Tupelo, Ms today. They were professional, courteous, and very respectful of our belongings. They were working to please US in every way from the time they arrived until the handshake and best wishes at the end of the day. Everything was wrapped with care and arrived in perfect condition. Items were distributed in our new home per our request. They worked very efficiently as a team. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move.

I found About The Move on Home Advisor. I was very impressed by the fact that Josh called me immediately after I entered my online request for an estimate. We hired About The Move to move several pieces of furniture from Oxford Al to Irondale, Alabama. One of the pieces was a large fragile antique oak secretary with two mirrors and a leaded glass panel. Two of the other pieces were solid wood dresser and chest on chest. All of this was very heavy. Additionally, before the pieces could be moved into the house, two pieces had to be moved out of the space where these pieces were going. The About The Move Moving Team (Frank and Robbie) did a fantastic job of wrapping all of the furniture securely in heavy blankets, loading them onto the truck, following us home, and unloading the pieces after moving the existing pieces to their new place in the home. The movers worked efficiently as a team, taking care to place the furniture exactly where I wanted it. They were polite, professional, and did a wonderful job of moving some very heavy furniture without a scratch. The price was actually less than the estimated price. I recommend About The Move enthusiastically!

Highly recommend!! They confirmed services in writing, showed up on time with masks and gloves and got to work. We hired them to load our 16' penske truck. They actually got everything to fit perfectly with room to spare. We made it from Alabama to Massachusetts with no damages whatsoever and an easy unloading process. - When we had some last minute issues with our closing and our out of state movers had to be back the next day, About The Move went above and beyond to get our truck transferred to one of theirs and were able to move our possessions the next day to our home. - I cannot say enough about this company and it’s movers.......I had to do a quick move out with very little notice as the condo had sold, new owner ready to do complete remodel. So with just 24 hour notice Tre, David and Derek along with Josh’s superb customer service and understanding of my situation were able to accommodate my need. My movers arrived on schedule, saw the scope of the job and quickly got to work. They had everything dismantled and packed onto moving truck in 4 hours.......that’s a 2000 sq ft condo on the 17th floor, with elevator that we had to wait on ALOT! But they got it done, took over to storage unit and within one & half hours was unloaded...these guys Tre, David & Derek were professional, friendly, and did a job beyond my expectations! I am starting a Home Staging business and this furniture was critical to my inventory and this company and these guys understood my needs, I am so incredibly thankful for them!!! - We’ve moved 5 times in 6 yrs and have used various moving companies, and by far this was the best one around. The crew was so polite, friendly and very efficient. My kids were sad to see them go. 4 bedrooms to a 2 story 5 bedroom, loaded and unloaded in less than 5 hrs. - I originally had requested services to only unload a u-haul that I had planned to drive from San Antonio Texas to move my mom, and two dogs, and towing my car. After looking at how difficult this would be, I reconsidered having About The Move do the entire move for me. I was not familiar with this company except for what I found on the internet. Josh sent Wesley and Corey (I may have not spelled their names correctly) to Texas to move me. They were so professional, on time, and did the packing. These guys were AWESOME!! I had lots of computer equipment as I telecommute from Home, and had so many fragile items to move. They took great care to handle my items with the upmost care. They arrived on time the following day to move me into my apartment in Daphne Alabama. I cannot say enough great things about these guys. Josh made sure I was happy with the results, and took the time to come by to correct a few loose ends for me that I needed done. I will definitely call on Josh and his team for my next move. - I was extremely pleased with ‘About the Move’ while moving a 2600 square foot house into a 1500 square foot house (no easy task). The owner provided the free estimate that I found quick, fair, and accurate. The 3 man crew that completed the move were professional and courteous. ‘About the Move’ quotes and charges by the hour which was initially concerning. However, I can confidently say that the work ethic provided by the staff was exceptional, and this concern proved to be unfounded.
